Election Info

When is the Northampton municipal election?
  • Municipal elections are held every other year during odd-numbered years (e.g. 2003, 2005, 2007, etc.). The next Northampton municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

What if I will be out of town or can't make it to the polls during election hours?
  • Northampton voters may cast their vote by Absentee Ballot no later than 12:00 Noon the day prior to Election Day. Absentee Ballots may be obtained by mail or by contacting the City Clerk's office. More details about this process can be found here.
