Dear Friends and Supporters,
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 was an exciting day for me and my family as Northampton voters elected me to be one of their two City Councilors At-Large. My winning vote total -- the highest in my race and any of the city's other competitive contests -- was both amazing and humbling and simply could not have happened without the help and support of people from across our community.
Whether it was hosting or attending coffee hours, putting up a lawn sign, writing letters to the editor, contributing money to help defray our campaign costs, signing my supporter ad, helping with election day visibility, or simply telling friends and neighbors about me and my candidacy, your many efforts on my behalf are what made this campaign successful.
I am looking forward to continuing my work on the City Council and this new challenge of serving our entire city as Councilor At-Large. We have many tough issues to tackle and I will work hard to live up to the trust you've placed in me and be a positive and productive leader to keep our great city moving forward.
